Privacy Policy
Effective September 9, 2026
Launch policy draft — review pending
Prepared for Spydr Technologies LLC. Owner-reported North Carolina LLC; registry and provider alignment require verification. These proposed launch terms are not activated. Purchases remain closed.
- Refunds
- No routine refunds after payment for monthly or annual subscriptions or listing packs, including unused time or listings. Exceptions remain for billing errors, refunds required by law, and service-failure refunds explicitly approved case by case.
- Cancellation
- Cancellation stops future renewal. Access continues through the paid period unless permanent account deletion is separately confirmed. Cancellation does not request permanent account deletion.
- Permanent deletion
- After permanent deletion is confirmed, account access is revoked immediately. Unnecessary account content, including original and edited photos, is removed from active systems within 7 days.
- Support records
- Support messages are retained for up to 90 days after deletion solely to resolve support issues or disputes, then deleted or irreversibly anonymized. Only the minimum records necessary for a documented unresolved dispute or legal obligation may be kept longer.
- Financial records
- Financial records follow a separate approved retention schedule and are not deleted indiscriminately. The seven-year schedule is approved for staging qualification; final public activation remains subject to review.
- Recovery copies
- Restricted recovery copies expire under the applicable provider retention policy. Provider-specific expiry remains unverified. Permanent deletion does not promise immediate erasure from backups or restoration of the deleted account.
- Unused packs and deletion
- Treatment of an unused listing-pack balance on permanent account deletion requires final review. Cancellation alone preserves that balance; active paid service is required to use it.
- Cookies and this device
- Sign-in and temporary eBay connection cookies support account access. Upload-recovery metadata and saved Photo Editor originals, edits and batch progress may remain in this browser on this device. Removing server account content cannot erase files you downloaded or browser data on an offline device; clear the relevant site data and local files yourself when needed. These local records are not advertising profiles.

This Privacy Policy explains how Spydr collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Spydr website, application, and related services (the “Service”). Spydr is operated from North Carolina, United States. If you have privacy questions or requests, contact hello@spydr.pro.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Spydr, we may collect:
- Account information: information provided through sign-in, such as your name, email address, profile information, account identifiers, workspace memberships, and authentication metadata.
- Inventory and listing content: photos, filenames, listing details, titles, descriptions, condition, product identifiers, item specifics, prices, package data, research inputs and results, seller edits, and related marketplace-ready content.
- Marketplace account information: when you connect eBay, we may receive and store your eBay seller identifier, username or display identity, granted scopes, business-policy information, account readiness, connection status, listing identifiers, and other information needed to perform actions you authorize. eBay access and refresh tokens are encrypted and stored in server-only storage.
- Usage and technical information: service events, security events, audit records, browser and device information, IP address, timestamps, provider request metadata, performance information, and usage or cost telemetry needed to operate and secure Spydr.
- Communications: information you send when you contact us for support, privacy requests, feedback, or other assistance.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- create, organize, research, translate, validate, and review marketplace listings;
- connect marketplace accounts and perform actions you explicitly authorize;
- detect errors, abuse, fraud, security threats, duplicate actions, and unauthorized access;
- provide customer support and communicate about the Service;
- measure performance, reliability, and provider usage; and
- comply with legal, regulatory, marketplace, and platform obligations.
3. AI and automated processing
Spydr uses automated systems and AI providers to analyze seller-supplied inventory content and help generate listing information. Necessary photos, text, and related listing context may be transmitted to service providers for these features. AI-generated or researched information may be incomplete or inaccurate, and Spydr is designed to require seller review where information is unresolved or material to publication. Silk help uses local product guidance and authorized account records without a language-model call. Research uses authorized eBay sources. Photo Editor transforms run in your browser; the original and completed local edits remain on that device until you explicitly apply a result to a draft or download it.
4. Marketplace connections and eBay data
If you connect an eBay account, Spydr uses the permissions you grant to retrieve seller-account information, read business policies, upload listing media, verify listings, and, only after an explicit publish action, submit supported listings to your eBay account. Spydr does not publish a production eBay listing without a seller-authorized publish action.
eBay information is also subject to eBay's own terms and privacy practices. Spydr processes eBay account-deletion notifications and deletes or anonymizes applicable eBay-derived personal information as required, except where retention is permitted or required by law.
5. When we share information
We may share information only as needed with:
- Service providers that support hosting, databases, authentication, security, AI processing, communications, analytics, or other Service operations;
- Marketplaces and platforms such as eBay when you connect an account or direct Spydr to perform an authorized marketplace action;
- Legal or safety recipients when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or enforce applicable terms; and
- A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the Service, subject to applicable law.
Spydr does not sell personal information.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account and marketplace state, protect the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal or platform obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. Marketplace credentials are removed or invalidated when appropriate following disconnect, revocation, deletion, or other account-lifecycle events. Some security, audit, backup, or legally required records may be retained longer where permitted.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These include access controls, tenant isolation, encrypted transport, restricted server-side credential storage, and encryption of marketplace tokens at rest. No system can guarantee absolute security, and you should protect your account and connected-platform credentials as well.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You may disconnect a supported marketplace account through Spydr where that feature is available. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting hello@spydr.pro. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law or marketplace obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.
9. Children
Spydr is intended for adults who are legally able to operate seller accounts and enter into agreements. The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Service.
10. International use
Spydr is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from another country, information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. If a change is material, we will provide notice through the Service or another reasonable method. The effective date above identifies the current version.
